Buddy Hield Made NBA History in the Golden State Warriors – Utah Jazz Match

Buddy Hield’s arrival in the Bay Area has been quite a ruckus. The Golden State Warriors started their first two games of the season on the road, but the message still stands. He helped the team to a 140-107 win in the season opener and torched the Utah Jazz in the first half of their second game.

The veteran sniper made his impact on a few other teams before joining the Warriors last summer, but he’s made his presence known more since playing for Golden State.

In the first half against the Jazz, Hield scored 24 points and knocked down six of his seven three-point attempts, helping his team take a big lead. After the fast start, a statistic was announced via @WarriorsMuse that Hield made NBA history with the 3-point shots he made in the first two games of the series and made 11 three-pointers in two games.

Capture? Hield accomplished this in just six quarters. He is in complete excitement with his new staff.

This was one of two ways Hield made history in this game, also moving to 21st all-time in triples.

After his first game with the club, Hield brought his experience back to his time playing college basketball during his time as a superstar with the Oklahoma Sooners.

“I don’t want to bring it up, but I think the last time I was free like that was in Oklahoma,” Hield said.

It looks like Hield has a place on the team that is revolutionizing three-point shooting, and playing in Steve Kerr’s system is only helping him improve further.
