Riverdale, MD – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Riverdale that identified 38-year-old Jeiver Pozuelos Cervantes of Hyattsville as the victim. It was announced that a reward of up to $25,000 will be given to those who provide information that will lead to an arrest and indictment in the case.

At approximately 6:40 a.m. Thursday, a citizen near Veterans Parkway and Riverdale Road alerted patrol officers to an unresponsive man on the side of the road. During the investigation, it was determined that the victim was shot and died at the scene.
