Good Samaritans help law enforcement near Denver catch road rage attackers

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A group of brave good Samaritans helped law enforcement arrest two men accused of shooting a motorist on I-25 Saturday morning.

According to 11 News’ sister station CBS Denver, everyone involved in the incident was traveling in the area of ​​I-25 and Highway 36 in Adams County. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office told CBS Denver that there was some sort of road rage between the suspects and the victim that led to the shooting. Witnesses saw the gunshots and called 911, then chased after the suspects and kept them in sight until deputies arrived.

Both suspects were detained in a short time. The victim is expected to survive.

An Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokesman called the Samaritans’ actions “pretty cool.”
