Telangana Skills University: Megha Engineering announces construction of Rs 200 crore building and campus – Telangana News

In another corporate boost to the ambitious Skills University, a multi-sector infrastructure company of the Telangana government, Megha Engineering Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) has come forward to assist in the construction of the institute building and campus.

MEIL announced an assistance of Rs 200 crore to the state government under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the construction of the entire university campus. Officials said that the company announced that it will build the Skills University with state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities.

MEIL’s move came almost a week later. Adani Foundation donates Rs 100 crore to Revanth Reddy government For the establishment of the university.

MEIL representatives, led by Managing Director Krishna Reddy, held a meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat on Saturday to discuss the construction of the university campus. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers D Sridhar Babu, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, P Srinivas Reddy and MP Anil Kumar Yadav were also present.

During the meeting, the infrastructure company announced that the construction of the Skills University campus will be carried out to world standards.

MIEL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government for the construction of the building.

In August this year, Chief Minister Reddy performed ‘Bhumi Puja’ for the construction of Skill University on 57 acres of land near Meerkhanpet in Kandukur mandal.

The Congress government in the southern state has decided to undertake the construction of the campus, which will provide all facilities to the students, including advanced teaching facilities.

Reddy congratulated and thanked Megha Corporation for coming forward to build the college campus with CSR funds.

Meanwhile, MEIL MD Krishna Reddy said his company will construct hostel buildings along with academic buildings, workshops and classrooms.

At the meeting, university building models and designs prepared by the architects were presented to the builder.

Reddy asked the officials to complete the building designs within a week and also make necessary arrangements to start the construction of the structure from November 8. The Chief Minister assured all support on behalf of the state government.
