Iran Announces 4 Soldiers Killed in Israeli Airstrikes

Iran said two soldiers were killed in an attack targeting military facilities in the Islamic Republic on Saturday, almost a month after Israel vowed to avenge the missile bombardment that raised fears of a full-blown Middle East war.

The Israeli military said retaliatory airstrikes hit Iran’s missile production facilities, missile facilities and other systems in various regions. He warned that Iran would “pay a heavy price” if it responded.

Iran confirmed that the Israeli attack targeted military facilities surrounding the capital in Tehran province and other parts of the country, and said the attack caused “limited damage”. The armed forces later said two soldiers were killed in the attacks.

Israel had vowed to retaliate for Iran’s barrage of 200 missiles on October 1, its second direct strike against its arch-enemy. Most of these missiles were captured but one person was killed.

Israel’s retaliation was condemned by Hamas and Saudi Arabia, which warned of further escalation.

Israel is currently at war on two fronts; Since last month there has been an all-out war against Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon and in Gaza, where Israel has been fighting Palestinian Hamas militants for more than a year and the United Nations has warned the “darkest countries”. The moment of this conflict was emerging.
