COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A man is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on I-275 early Saturday morning, Colerain police said.

The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. on I-275 East near mile marker 49.4.

Police said that three vehicles were involved in the accident and many injuries occurred.

Police did not say how many people were injured in the accident, but many people were taken to hospital.

Todd Rutledge Sr. was transported to UC Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, police said.

All eastbound lanes of the interstate were also closed due to the crash. Police said they reopened around 5 a.m.
