    Fantasy football can be a welcome distraction, and you may need it badly this week.

    So, as always, we present the weekly fantasy trade value chart, a guide for those trying to persuade gullible members of your league to give you their best players in exchange for average performers.

    Keep your league’s specific format and scoring rules in mind when looking at the trade table (the table below was compiled with PPR scoring in mind). And of course, have the fantasy points with you!

    What Should CeeDee Lamb’s Fantasy Value Do After Dak Prescott’s Injury?

    In five games with Cooper Rush as the starter in 2022, Lamb caught 31 passes on 49 targets for 380 yards and two touchdowns. On a game-by-game basis, that translates to 6.2 catches on 9.8 targets for 76 yards and 0.4 touchdowns. Looking at a 17-game season, you’re looking at 105 catches for 1,292 yards and six touchdowns.

    CeeDee Lamb, 2-6 of 2022. In the five matches he played with Cooper Rush in weeks:
    – 32.9% targets
    – 41.2% first reads
    – 31/380/2 receiving (16.5 PPR FPG)
    In that span, 78.6% of Lamb’s targets were catchable. No bad. Dak has thrown a catchable pass to Lamb 82.5% of the time this year     @FantasyPtsData

    This is a good production! (Although derived from a very small sample size.) But those aren’t the kind of elite numbers Lamb posted last season (135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns), nor do they equal the pace he’s on this year (which is where he’d be on pace now ). He had 112 catches for 1,402 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games).

    Also note that in 2022, the Cowboys were ninth in the NFL in rushing for 135.2 yards per game. These Cowboys don’t have that kind of balance on offense and currently rank 31st in the NFL in yards passing (82 yards per game). It will be much easier for a defense to focus its attention on covering Lamb and pressuring Rush than it was two seasons ago.

    It’s now possible for Prescott to miss just a few games and for Lamb to return to his regularly scheduled dominance as the playoff weeks begin. But given the uncertainty surrounding both Prescott’s timeline and Lamb’s own shoulder injury — and Prescott’s condition in particular doesn’t look good — such predictions are dim.

    Lamb will still be a solid option for fantasy players, but will likely be more of a WR2. This could open up opportunities to buy low, given the potential panic surrounding Prescott’s injury, but there’s certainly enough risk involved that you shouldn’t pay market-high prices.

    But if you have Lamb, you should probably wait. No one is going to overpay for him at this point, and you don’t want to give away a player who can still serve as a solid starting point for you for a dime. This probably isn’t as bleak an outcome for Lamb as, say, Tua Tagovailoa’s injuries to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but some drop-off in production should be expected.
