3 reasons for concern in week 10

The New York Giants will face the Carolina Panthers in Germany next Sunday as part of the NFL’s international series.

The game between the two teams could be one of the toughest sells in the NFL’s international history.

Even though the Giants were coming off a four-game losing streak, Big Blue started as the favorite, and a significant one at that. The fact that the Giants were the favorites in this match broke their 24-game winning streak in which they were among the underdogs.

Meanwhile, the Panthers are coming off their second win of the season with a win over the New Orleans Saints, ending their five-game losing streak.

Here are three reasons for concern ahead of Sunday’s game in Germany.

Defense in the Red Zone

Some of the Giants’ closest games this season have been close because of their defense’s ability to step into the red zone. Believe it or not, the Panthers rank eighth in the league in red zone efficiency. This could pose a threat to the Giants defense, which has struggled the last few games.

The rush to pass has quieted down

Last week, the Giants’ defensive front failed to score a goal in their game against the Washington Commanders; A team they recorded five sacks in their first meeting. As bad as the Panthers have been this season, if the Giants are going to win on Sunday, they can’t give Bryce Young pocket time.

Scoring points

The Giants’ two biggest struggles this year were stopping the run on defense and scoring points on offense. The Giants’ offense ranks last in red zone efficiency, and scoring points on the scoreboard always seems to be a challenge for the Big Blue, no matter who they play.
