WYOMING, Mich. — A child is safe after Wyoming police say he was inside a stolen vehicle Tuesday night.

According to the Wyoming Police Department (WPD), officers responded to the incident in the 3300 block of South Division Boulevard around 8 p.m.

We were told a suspect fled in a stolen vehicle with a child inside. At one point, the suspect took the child out of the car and dropped him off.

WPD says the child was found by a parent. They escaped uninjured during the incident.

The investigation into the carjacking continues.
