    Built in 1893, the Moore County Old Jail Museum is located just off the historic town square and was used as a prison until 1990. Today, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is home to historical clothing and artifacts. Constructed of oak and brick, the building also protects two 8×8 prison cells occupied by inmates. The museum is open from noon to 15:00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is closed on holidays.
