Brown County Board of Commissioners plans to fill 2 seats after supervisors resignation

GREEN BAY – The Brown County Board of Directors needs to fill two vacant seats after board members Salvador Sierra and Jessica Adams announced their resignations this month.

Salvador Sierra, District 15, is moving to Miami for a new job and resigned Oct. 7. Jessica Adams of the 19th District announced Wednesday that she has found a new job that does not allow her to hold public office.

Anyone who lives in the district and would like to fill their seat can submit an application to Patrick Buckley, chairman of the County Board, by Nov. 1. Buckley will contact candidates for interviews and present the two candidates on December 18. District Board meeting.

The new members will serve the remainder of the term until 2026.

Adams was on the board since 2022 and Sierra He joined the board of directors in January. District 15 consists of western Bellevue and Allouez, north of Mission Road. District 19 covers most of eastern De Pere.
