Virginia voters weigh in on Election 2024: ‘How are you feeling?’

RICHMOND, Va. — With less than 24 hours until Election Day results are processed, CBS 6 reporters visited Forest Hill Park in South Richmond to ask Virginia voters a simple question: how are you feeling?

Brendan Daly
“I’m really sorry, mainly for the women in my life. Mainly for the girls I plan on having in the future.”

Jonathan
“I feel like prices are going to come down now, gas prices and everything like that is going to help us a lot. Yeah, that’s how I feel too. I feel like prices have gone way up, and now that (Donald Trump) has won, prices are going to come down, the lower they go, the lower everything is going to go.”

Ebony Parks
“We just have to remain good citizens, take care of each other, and keep doing the things we do to make the world a better place. And we’ll be okay. We’ll look out for each other, and the Government will do what it does, and we’ll do the best we can as Americans, always.” “We will stand together and take care of each other as it is.”

Chef Scott, Global Fusion RVA
“I’m a Trump supporter. I hope he gets the country back on track. We need change, we need unity, we need people to come together again just so this division can go away. So that’s my prayer, that God will work all of this to bring the country back together.” “It brings.”

Sean McDonough
“I think it’s really important to stay true to who we are. Connect with friends and community. Chat with strangers. It’s always an opportunity to see the other side of the picture. I look at it as just another good day, because there’s plenty of opportunity for growth today.”
