A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the parking lot of the Oakwood Apartments in Ivanhoe on Tuesday night, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at the apartment complex located at the intersection of Route 158 and Giotta Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m.

Deputies found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The person was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
