Toddler shot in jaw in Shawnee expected to survive

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A minor who was shot in the jaw in West Louisville is recovering.

Shortly before 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, Louisville Metro police officers were called to a reported shooting in the area of ​​South 41st Street and West Market Street in the Shawnee neighborhood.

Once there, they were unable to find a victim, but a minor was eventually found at a home in the 100 block of South 41st Street. He was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, according to a later statement.
