Traffic England shows delays extending from Junction 33 (Garstang) northbound and Junction 34 (Lancaster) southbound to Junction 33.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We currently have a full closure of the M6 ​​between Junction 32 and Junction 33.

“The highway is closed due to a traffic accident and we anticipate it will remain closed for several more hours.

“Thank you in advance for your patience.”
