As if all eyes weren’t already on Nevada, they will be, especially now that voters are waiting in lines for hours even though polls statewide close at 7 p.m.

During the 7:15 p.m. update, Washoe County’s deputy registrar said there was a 3-hour wait at the University of Nevada, Reno.

In Nevada, you can continue to cast your vote as long as you are in line until the polls close. No results will be announced until the last voter in the state casts their vote.

As of the evening update, nine voting centers are closed, 10 locations have wait times of more than an hour, and 13 sites across Washoe County have wait times of less than one hour. The remaining sites have wait times of less than 30 minutes.

In southern Nevada, there was a wait time of more than two hours at a voting center in Pahrump, according to a Nye County official.
