Rasmussen is set for induction into the prestigious National Rodeo Hall of Fame

BILLINGS — Montana’s prime-time comedian will receive perhaps his most prestigious award Saturday night. Inducted into the National Rodeo Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.

Flint Rasmussen, a former school teacher who joined the PRCA as a rodeo clown in 1994, watched his career explode from performing in some of Montana’s smallest arenas to New York City’s Madison Square Garden, known as the most famous arena in the world.

The Choteau native then served as the official entertainer of the Professional Bull Riders tour from 2006 to 2023, before moving on to the role of senior vice president of fan engagement at PBR.

As the hall of fame countdown approaches, Rasmussen visits with MTN Sports’ Scott Breen to talk about a variety of topics, from the size of Saturday’s award to whether he’ll accept the award in clown makeup and why he won’t be driving a pickup truck anymore.
