OWINGS MILLS, MD. — An investigation is ongoing after a loaded gun was found at a popular indoor children’s playground in Owings Mills.

The incident happened at Hyper Kidz on Cronridge Drive at around 3.15pm on Saturday.

An anonymous Hyper Kidz employee confirmed by phone that a firearm was found outside the facility.

The gun was found inside the building, according to Baltimore County Police.

Many people on social media claimed that the gun was initially found in the children’s ball pit.

Police were unable to verify these accounts.

Officers seized the gun before any injuries were reported.

Hyper Kidz did not respond to our requests for further comment. They opened for business on Monday.
