Man stabbed in Brighton is reportedly in stable condition

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the chest and abdomen in Brighton on Monday, police said.

Shortly after 10 p.m., officers responded to a radio call about a stabbing in the area of Commonwealth Boulevard and Warren Street. According to the police report, while the man was being taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, “officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail.”
