ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) – After a month-long investigation, police in an East Carolina city arrested a man for murder.

J’von Coley was captured Wednesday for the Sept. 21 murder of Daquan Williams, police said.

Police said Coley, 29, was out on bail on multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm within city limits before his arrest.

Coley is being held in the Nash County jail without bail.
