Highlighting key statistics, he urged the world to “understand today’s India” through tangible signs of progress: India is building 28 km of highways and 12-14 km of railway lines every day, expanding modern Vande Bharat trains. From just 6 metro-enabled cities a decade ago, the number has now risen to 21, with 39 more expected to follow. Over the past decade, India has built 7-8 airports a year, nearly doubling the total from 75 to around 150.
