Zion Williamson’s Latest Injury Status in the Pelicans-Hawks Game

As of today, Zion Williamson is listed as eligible to play for the New Orleans Pelicans against the Atlanta Hawks. Zion hadn’t missed a single game for the Pelicans this short season, so fans were starting to appreciate his availability so far.

Three hours before tipoff, Zion’s score suddenly dropped to questionable due to a strained right hamstring. Online fans had some concerns, but the panic button wasn’t quite pushed yet.

Now, about 80 minutes ago, Zion Williamson was downgraded once again against the Atlanta Hawks. The only lucky addition to this story is that Jordan Hawkins has been upgraded from questionable to eligible.

Going into tonight, the New Orleans Pelicans were already missing Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Herb Jones and Trey Murphy III, four very important names on their roster. All eyes will now be on Brandon Ingram as he will have to carry the load without any of his key teammates.

In the team’s last game against the Indiana Pacers, the Pelicans got some unexpected help from Brandon Boston Jr. The team will need this even more when they face Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans and Atlanta Hawks will face each other tonight at 19:30 (EST).
