Four UAlbany faculty members receive grants for AI research

Four University at Albany faculty members have received grants from the Artificial Intelligence Research Alliance for their work on improving the reliability of artificial intelligence.

UAlbany was one of two SUNY research centers to receive four grants this year, out of a total of 14 funded projects systemwide.

“UAlbany researchers are developing more powerful and efficient AI hardware and models without overlooking critical questions about their reliability and the ethics of their use,” said Thenkurussi Kesavadas, Vice President for Research and Economic Development.
