LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Dodgers Will organize a victory march It starts at 11 a.m. Friday in downtown Los Angeles, starting from Gloria Molina Grand Park in front of City Hall and ending at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Flower Street.

Dodger buses go to the parade under CHP escort

A small crowd of Dodger fans experienced surprising excitement Friday morning as a half-dozen double-decker open-air buses carrying world champions emerged from the Dodger Stadium parking lot on their way to the parade.

A heavy law enforcement presence was visible as part of the convoy, including the Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team and California Highway Patrol cruisers.

A small crowd of Dodger fans experienced surprising excitement as a half-dozen open-air double-decker buses containing world champions emerged from the Dodger Stadium parking lot on their way to the parade.

Some members of the Dodger team could be seen drinking beer and smoking cigars in a party atmosphere on the buses. The buses were then showered with blue and white streamers as they left City Hall to start the parade.

Tens of thousands of Dodger faithful packed downtown Los Angeles on Friday for the team’s first World Series parade since 1988.

Tens of thousands of Dodger fans gathered in downtown Los Angeles and Dodger Stadium for the team’s first World Series parade since 1988.

Scores of fans flocked to the streets of DTLA to show their love for the blue, creating an electric atmosphere filled with Dodger blue.

The parade will start near Grand Park, then move through the streets of downtown.

It will go from 1st Avenue to Grand Avenue to 5th Avenue and then to the intersection of 5th Avenue and Flower.

The Dodgers will then travel to Dodger Stadium, where a sold-out event is held.
