The Las Vegas Raiders appear to be done with the trade market.

Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed The Raiders plan to “blow out” and make no further moves beyond the Davante Adams trade before the Nov. 5 NFL trade deadline, reports The Athletic:

The Raiders traded Davante Adams last month and have lost four straight games, so they’re clearly going to sell, sell, sell come Tuesday’s trade deadline! No. This doesn’t make much sense. They are the absolute worst team in the AFC West, and barring a miraculous comeback, the Raiders won’t make the playoffs this year. That’s why the Raiders need to stay afloat. According to team sources, this is exactly what is expected from them.

Tafur and Reed reported that the Raiders do not view their situation as a “full-scale devastation” and believe the team can become competitive in 2025 with a strong offseason.

Las Vegas is currently 2-6 and in last place in the AFC West. The team lost 4 matches in a row. Trading Adams to the New York Jets on October 15 earned the Raiders a conditional third-round pick.

While the roster isn’t necessarily loaded with talent, he could pick up a few pieces of draft capital and help the front office navigate the offseason with more opportunities to find key future pieces. Defensive end Maxx Crosby could certainly be an intriguing option for many teams at the deadline, but the Raiders have been consistent. desire to protect the three-time Pro Bowler.

Instead, the Raiders look to try to get through the 2024 season as is and make a splash in the offseason that will put the team on track to compete in the AFC in 2025 and beyond.
