Dallas Cowboys’ Stephen Jones offers a little hope

Dallas Cowboys Star edge rusher Micah Parsons is likely to miss another game due to a high ankle sprain he suffered in a Week 4 win over rival New York Giants.

Parsons was hoping to return sooner rather than later but missed the team’s last three games.

This week, when the Cowboys face the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Week 9, Parsons is once again likely to miss the game.

Parsons continues to work with his rehab group, but the Cowboys executive vice president, CEO and director of player personnel provided Cowboys Nation with a new update that offers some hope.

Stephen Jones said Parsons had a chance to play, but also said he would play.We can call this a remote possibility.

But he says you have a chance.

It remains to be seen whether Parsons will return to the field, but having a healthy offensive player back in the lineup would go a long way for the Cowboys defense.

Kickoff between the Cowboys and 49ers on Sunday Night Football will be at 8:20 PM ET on NBC and will be streamed live on Peacock.
