Police searching for suspects in back-to-back hit-and-runs in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Police are investigating two separate hit-and-run crashes that occurred back-to-back on October 30 in Cumberland County.

According to Upper Allen Township Police, officers responded to the first crash in the first block of West Lisburn Road at 2 p.m. Police said the driver’s side mirrors of two pickup trucks collided as the trucks passed each other. The white pickup truck traveling eastbound on South Market Street refused to stop.

Police said the driver’s side mirror of the getaway vehicle was damaged.

The second crash occurred at 4:20 p.m., in the area of ​​the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Route 15 South, according to police. Police said a black SUV struck a white Chevrolet Cruze on Route 15 South and continued driving.

Police added that the front fender of the vehicle was most likely damaged in the incident.
