Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, broke the record for the most watched TikTok live broadcast in Africa with a total of 389,800 viewers.

He broke the record on Wednesday, October 30, during a livestream co-hosted by TikTok stars Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq.

More than 164,000 people watched the broadcast live at the same time.

Davido has received over 377 lion gifts on TikTok. Each lion costs $400.

He revealed that the money would be given to co-hosts Peller, Jarvis and Jo Blaq.

Peller previously held the record for the most watched TikTok live broadcast in Africa. He broke the record set by Davido in a session that also featured singer Tiwa Savage.
