More than 1 million votes have been cast in Wisconsin since early voting began Oct. 22.

This includes voting not only through in-person absentee voting, but also through other methods such as the U.S. Postal Service and drop boxes.

Milwaukee County, Wisconsin’s most populous county, received the largest number of absentee ballots, according to the Journal Sentinel’s analysis of the latest Wisconsin Elections Commission data released Wednesday morning. It is followed by Dane County and Waukesha County, Wisconsin’s second and third most populous counties.

The Journal Sentinel also calculated the percentage of ballots returned compared to the number sent to voters in each county so far. With 93% of absentee ballots returned, Washington County ranks first in share of ballots returned. Vernon County, on the other hand, had only 73% of absentee ballots returned; This is the lowest rate statewide.

Type your county in the search bar or click on the pages to see how many ballots your county received. Click other column headings to sort the table by different criteria.

In the table above, “returned ballots” refers to the total number of absentee ballots election officials have received to date. The “percent returned” represents the share of ballots cast so far out of the total number of people who received an absentee ballot.

This story will be updated daily as the Wisconsin Elections Commission provides the latest absentee ballot data.
