2024 US Presidential Election: Jennifer Lopez will rally with Kamala Harris in Las Vegas

In a highly anticipated event, Jennifer Lopez will join Vice President Kamala Harris at the ‘When We Vote, We Win’ rally in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 31.

According to the deadline, the meeting aims to increase voter turnout as the election date approaches.

Lopez will speak to the crowd about the critical importance of voting and the implications of the upcoming election for the country.

He will also share his support for Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and highlight the importance of their leadership.

The event is part of a broader campaign effort to encourage voter participation as early voting in Nevada ends on Nov. 1, just a few days before Election Day, according to Deadline.

Adding to the excitement, iconic band Mana will also perform at the rally, enhancing the star-studded atmosphere.

In the days leading up to the event, Lopez used her Instagram story to highlight Harris’ commitment to revitalizing Puerto Rico’s economy and energy infrastructure.

This follows controversy sparked by comedian Tony Hinchliffe’s derogatory remarks about Puerto Rico during a recent rally for Donald Trump, which were met with outrage from many artists, including Lopez.

Puerto Rican music icons such as Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin also voiced their support for Harris.

Bad Bunny said in the video he published, “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and did not do when Puerto Rico needed a compassionate and competent leader. He abandoned the island and tried to block the aid that came one after the other.” According to Deadline, he delivered devastating hurricanes and nothing but paper towels and insults.

Ricky Martin also condemned Hinchliffe’s comments on his own social media, demonstrating unity among Puerto Rican artists in the face of disrespect. Luis Fonsi also attended and pointed out the ongoing problems and the need for change.
