FREMANTLE will delist Tom Emmett after just two seasons, while young Ruck Max Knobel will be delisted with the promise of being re-drafted as a rookie.

Power forward Odin Jones has also been offered another year on the rookie list after developing with Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

WHO COMES OUT? Retirements and delistings in 2024

Emmett, 22, joined the Dockers at pick 41 in the 2022 AFL Draft and has kicked 11 goals in 15 appearances after making his debut in round 23 of 2023. He also played for Peel’s 2024 WAFL first team.

“It’s always a difficult time of the year to confirm the final places on our list and say goodbye to quality people like Tom. We thank Tom for his contribution on and off the field over the last two years and wish him all the best,” said Fremantle football boss Joe Brierty.

The 206cm Knobel is a victim of the Dockers’ roster spot shortage and will be on Freo’s rookie list for another year unless he is drafted by another club.

He was drafted 42nd overall in 2022 and has split his time between the Peel Thunders’ WAFL senior squads and reserve teams.

“Max continues to improve his running ability and has taken forward steps in every aspect of his football this year. We believe his football will only continue to improve in 2025,” Brierty said.

Jones was Docker’s No. 4 pick in the 2023 rookie draft and is yet to make his AFL debut after a disrupted pre-season.
