After more than a decade since Wizards of Waverly Place last hit TV screens, the Russo twins are back for a reboot of the teen comedy show.

The original series gave Selena Gomez and David Henrie their big break, and both stars are reprising their roles in The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, an all-new sequel series exclusive to Disney Plus.

Picking up 12 years after where the old series left off, Justin Russo (Henrie) is now an assistant principal living on Staten Island, hiding his wizard past from his wife Giada (Mimi Gianopulos) and children. But when his sister Alex (Gomez) unexpectedly drops off a talented young wizard named Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) at her house, Justin realizes it’s time to use his magical skills once again and become her mentor.

‘The Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ episode release dates

Episodes of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere first on Disney Channel, then begin streaming on demand on Disney Plus the next day.

The show premiered on Tuesday, October 29 at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel with the help of two episodes. Two more episodes will arrive at the same time on Wednesday, October 30, and new episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays from then on. You can watch the premiere now on Disney Plus.

There are a variety of streaming options for Disney Channel if you want to watch episodes when they air live. Hulu Plus Live TV is one of your best bets since you can bundle the service with Disney Plus.
