ATLANTA – Atlanta police are investigating a suspect who barricaded himself at the Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown.

Authorities said that the person was armed, so a security perimeter was established.

The following streets in the area were closed:

• 14th Avenue NE at W Peachtree Avenue NE
• 14th Street NE at Crescent Avenue NE
• 13th Avenue NE at W Peachtree Avenue NE
• 13th Street NE at Crescent Avenue NE
• 13th Street NE at Peachtree Walk NE
