Dracula’s teeth and ‘alien’ head will feature in Bradford exhibition

The National Science and Media Museum in Bradford city center closed in summer 2023 to allow work to be carried out to create two new Sound and Vision galleries, reorganize the entrance area and install a lift.

The museum is scheduled to partially reopen in January to coincide with the start of Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture.

But construction delays mean the two new galleries won’t be ready until the summer.

The £6 million Sound and Vision galleries will showcase “the museum’s world-class collections of photography, film, television, games and sound and video technologies”, according to a museum spokesperson.
