Camden residents gather for ‘Halloween on the Square’

CAMDEN, Tenn. — Halloween is fast approaching and a town is preparing for a night of scares.

Residents gathered in Camden city center on Monday evening for ‘Halloween on the Square’. The Camden Police Department, along with other Camden first responders and businesses in the community, were giving out candy. There was good fun and games for the whole family to enjoy.

Guests were also encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. One of the main attractions was the annual ‘Terror in the Square’ haunted house.

“The first year I was so scared I didn’t want to get dressed. I didn’t want to do anything. I was about to become a cashier and at the last minute I decided to become a monster,” said Paislee Holland, Square in Terror’s ‘Dolly’ character actress.

“I wasn’t that scared, I mean, I was a little scared. Okay, I was very scared, it was very scary, it was a very scary experience,” said Nick Coats, character actor of Terrorde Square’s ‘Butcher’.

Cast members say they’re looking forward to scaring even more guests next year.
