Iowa City Police seek help identifying woman connected to stabbing

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa City Police are asking for help searching for a woman they say is connected to a stabbing that injured two people.

The stabbing happened at 1:19 a.m. Sunday at The Haven, a nightclub at 220 South Van Buren Street.

Police stated that two people were injured in the incident, but their injuries were not life-threatening. They did not disclose the extent of their injuries.

Iowa City Police announced that the attacker was a woman in her 30s with short blonde hair. Police are asking anyone with information or even video to contact Detective Alec Fjelstul at [email protected].
