Shohei Ohtani doesn’t miss it.

Los Angeles Dodgers Star will face off in the 3rd game of the World Series. New York Yankees on Monday despite suffering a partial dislocation of his left shoulder late in Game 2 on Saturday.

Ohtani will continue to lead the way for the Dodgers, the same spot he had on the roster throughout the offseason.

It was a quick comeback for Ohtani, who was injured sliding into second base to end the seventh inning of Game 2. He rolled over in pain as he held his arm before being helped to his feet and walked back into the clubhouse.

While the Dodgers went on to win Game 2 and maintain a 2-0 series lead, it will be much more challenging to get the job done if Ohtani isn’t his usual self. The likely NL MVP has three postseason home runs, and his double in the eighth inning of Game 1 helped set up the Dodgers’ game-tying run before winning it in extras.

Dodgers-Yankees home opener at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx is set for 8:08 PM ET.
